EducationRutgers New Brunswick - BA, Psychology, Biology minor
ExperienceMy passion for psychology is driven by my love of communication, because I enjoy helping people get a better understanding of something, whether it is through tutoring, counseling, or athletic coaching. I've studied a wide variety of subjects throughout my undergraduate years at Rutgers University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Biology minor. It is my long-term plan to go to medical school in order to become a psychiatrist. However, working as a tutor is a great way for me to help others right now. I can tutor students in all kinds of subjects, from elementary and middle school math to high school-level Algebra and Pre-Calculus. I can also work with students on Physiology, Biology, Anatomy, Physics, and Chemistry. Because I am working toward graduate school myself, I am interested in helping students with standardized and college test preparation, from the verbal and math portions of the SAT to MCAT and SSAT preparation, including special subjects like Social and Behavioral Sciences. I know that each student brings unique skills and challenges to the table, and I focus on meeting each student's needs.
